Charles Vernon Weaver, age 71, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021. He was born March 13, 1950 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the son of Vernon and Viola (Blaney) Weaver. The family moved to California where Charles spent most of his childhood. Charles lived many years in Cassville, Missouri. He served his country in the U.S. Army including 18 months in Vietnam. On December 13, 1980 Charles and Anita Harrison were married.
Charles worked as a salesman and installer in the heating and air business before retirement. Although he enjoyed fishing and was an excellent craftsman, his grandchildren were the delight in his life. When in his workshop or relaxing in his chair, his canine companions, Bear and Bella were always by his side.
Survivors include: His wife, Anita; children, Madalyn Weaver, of the home, Jesse Weaver and wife Jennifer of Springfield, Missy Levron and husband D.J. of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Charles E. Weaver and wife Cheryl of Cassville; grandchildren, Atreyu Weaver, Lily Weaver, Madeline Levron, Courtney Levron, Brandon Weaver and Michael Weaver; great-grandchildren, Lukas Weaver and Kash Levron; a brother, David Weaver of Cassville, and a sister, Shirley Fields of Arkansas.
Services and cremation are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, and Adams Crematory, Ozark. A graveside service with military honors will be 3:00 PM Friday, January 14, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
