Charles (Chuck) Ross Parrott

Charles Ross Parrott Jr., of Nixa, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO, after suffering a heart attack. Charles "Chuck"� was born on June 26, 1929, to Charles Ross Parrott Sr. and Maud Lucile (Gibbs) Parrott of Kansas City, MO. On February 14, 1986, Chuck married Margaret May (Butch) Parrott. They were married for 27 years. Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Maud Lucile (Gibbs) Parrott, his father, Charles Ross Parrott Sr., and his brother, Grant Hudson Parrott. Chuck leaves behind his wife, Margaret; three daughters, Heather Webb (husband Jami) of O"�Fallon, MO, Stephanie Fontanazza (husband Steve) of St. Charles, MO, and Tiffany Hefner (husband John) of Blue Springs, MO. Chuck also leaves behind two stepchildren, Jeana Wilcox (husband Kelley) of Lee"�s Summit, MO and Adam Harmon (wife Tiffany) of Harrisonville, MO. Besides his children, Chuck leaves behind eight grandchildren, and one on the way. Chuck was proud of his family and his service to his country while in the Navy during the Korean War. Chuck was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed traveling, landscaping, helping others, and being an active member of Nixa Christian Church, Nixa, MO. Memorial services will be held at Nixa Christian Church, 400 Northview Boulevard Nixa, MO, Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11:30 am, Rev. Chad Mattingly officiating. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Nixa Christian Church. Cremation under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
