Charles Michael Gann passed peacefully from this world on Friday, February 17th, 2023. He was surrounded by family and loved ones. “Mike”, as he was affectionately known, was born on July 13th, 1951, to Charles and Juanita Gann. He graduated from Logan-Rogersville High School in 1969 and worked as a meat cutter at Consumers Market for over 20 years. He raised three loving children with his first wife Rosanne. Mike inspired many laughs and brought joy to those around him. He was a joker, a prankster, and a man of great kindness. Mike’s love of music was as infectious as his fun-loving demeanor. He rarely met a stranger and always made people feel welcome. He lived a humble life of caring for others, with a seemingly inexhaustible commitment to family and his faith. Mike was a member of Craig Hollow Church in Highlandville, MO. He was a fisherman and a fisher of men.
Mike married Judy Carsten on March 25, 2006, and the two enjoyed many years with each other. Mike is preceded in death by parents, Charles and Juanita Gann, and brother Gary Gann. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; 3 sisters, Shirley Gann, Karen Leach, and Jane Baker; 3 children, Tammy Lauthern and husband Branden Lauthern, Joshua Gann, Kimberly Parkison and husband Jeff Parkison; 2 stepsons, Kevin Carsten, and wife Gayle Carsten, Jeff Carsten and wife Heather Carsten; seven precious grandchildren who love their “Papa Gann”, Amelia Lauthern, Isabella Lauthern, Michael Gann, Drake Gann, Hattie Parkison, Harper Parkison, Henley Parkison. Mike also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
