Charles Everett Anderson

Charles E. Anderson, age 85, of Nixa, passed away peacefully September 28, 2021. He was the eldest of Marle and Dorothy Anderson’s four children. Chuck served his country in the U.S. Army. He graduated from the University of Iowa and enjoyed a long career as a pharmacist. He enjoyed playing and listening to Hammond organ music, working in the yard, stargazing, fishing, reading, carpentry, and boating. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary Jo Hancock-Anderson, sister Pat Grove, children Kristin (John) Lagus, Tracy (Tim) Micko, Tom (Jenny) Anderson, bonus children Steve (Arlene) Hancock, Connie Goss (Bill Tirres), Donna (Jafey) Workman and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Jon Anderson, brother-in-law Jerry Grove, sister-in-law Sharon Anderson, and nephew Randy Randleman. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
