Catherine Jean Warren

Catherine Jean Warren, age 77, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Republic Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 1, 1944 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of James Lester “Bud” Buskirk and Helen Marie (Martindale) Buskirk. Catherine married her high school sweetheart, Dale Warren, and together they raised two children in Fayetteville. Catherine received her master’s degree from the University of Arkansas and became a licensed professional counselor. She retired from Ozark Guidance and Counseling Center. Catherine was a member of Sequoyah Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Always keeping busy, Catherine enjoyed puzzles of all kinds, crafts, and being outdoors enjoying nature. She loved music and was an avid reader. Her favorite place was Beaver Lake. Survivors include: Her children, Cindy Kramp and husband Greg of Nixa, Missouri, and Andrew Warren and wife Corbett of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Katelin and Conner Kramp, and Makenzie and Seth Warren; a brother, James P. Buskirk of Ft. Smith; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in Fayetteville in June to be announced by the family. Local arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
