Catherine Wampler

Catherine Wampler, age 83 of Nixa, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. She was born May 23, 1934 in South Dakota, the daughter of John and Alta (King) Bryant. On February 1, 1956 Catherine was united in marriage to Jerry Wampler. She worked as a registered nurse for hospitals and hospices. Catherine and Jerry enjoyed traveling. Catherine was a member of Ozark United Methodist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Greg Wampler and wife Glenda of Springfield and Tim Wampler and wife Jennifer of Kentucky; four grandchildren; her sister, Ima Jean; and two brothers, Doug and Marshall. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Randall. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Steve Blacksher officating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, south of Clever. Visitation will be from 9-10:00 A.M. immediately before the funeral on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
