Casey Brenn Hough Johnson

Casey Brenn Hough Johnson, age 42, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013, at her home in Nixa. She was born in Lebanon, April 9, 1971. Casey graduated from Greenwood High School, in Springfield. She was united in marriage to Derek Johnson on July 20, 2004, on Navarre Beach, Florida. Casey was a loving and compassionate person, and was loved by all. Her work family and friends at Mercy Clinic, in Nixa, always complimented her on how compassionate she with her patients and co-workers. Her co-workers loved her twisted sense of humor. Casey loved the Colorado Mountains, and the Florida beaches. Casey loved animals and recently became interested in bird feeding, especially "her cardinals"�. Casey was Derek"�s best friend, and she was a loving mother. Casey left us too soon, and she will be dearly missed. Casey is survived by her husband Derek; her daughter Moriah; her parents, Tim and Janet Draper, of Nixa; parents-in-law Donald and Bonnie Johnson, of Aurora; a sister-in-law, Marci Dawson and her husband Stacy, of Aurora; one nephew, Gregory Maddocks; 2 nieces, McKenna Dawson, and Megan Lafferty; and a great niece, Makaya Traore. Casey was preceded in death by her son Scotty Altic, and her brother Grady Hough. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 4:00 P.M. at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M, prior to the service.
