Carolyn Kay Harris, age 72, of Ozark, passed away in her home Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born November 22, 1948 in Aurora. Carolyn graduated from Clever High School in 1966. Later she received a bachelor's degree from Drury University.
She served her country in the U.S. Air Force, obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. During her service time she worked as a dog handler, training dogs as security animals. She worked at a day care center in Republic, and in the school resource office. Upon graduating from Drury, she became a Drug Rehab Counselor. Before retiring in 2014 she worked at the Ozarks Correctional Center in Fordland.
Carolyn loved to travel with family. An outdoors person, Carolyn enjoyed her garden flowers and plants, and taking nature walks.
Survivors include: her two children and their spouses, Beth and Ryan Rhodes of Ozark, and Brian and Lauren Harris of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Ethan and Nathan Harris; a sister, Emily Kidwell; niece and nephew, Lorie Page and James David Page.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jim Page, Steve Page, and Jeff Page, and the father of her children, Robert Harris.
In accordance with Carolyn's wishes, services will be planned by her family at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
