Carol Sue Martin

Carol Sue Martin, age 70 of Ozark, passed away January 14, 2014. She was born March 1, 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee. On July 18, 1962, Carol was united in marriage to Michael Leroy Martin, who preceded her in death on August 28, 2013. Carol loved spending time with family camping, fishing, and shopping. She enjoyed reading. She is survived by a daughter, Maria Shade and husband Scott; grandsons Corey Schroeder, Mike Shade and wife Heather, and Matthew Shade; a granddaughter, Lindsay Schroeder and boyfriend Kyle Wendland; two brothers, Leroy Valentine and wife Christine and Howard Valentine; a sister, Bonnie Lunsford and husband Ralph; her father-in-law, Melvin Martin and wife Judy; nieces; nephews; and many friends. In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gladys Sizemore and Reba McManus; and two brothers, Vernon Valentine and Paul Valentine. A memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2014, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dr. Richard Eakins officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Saturday.
