Carlene Mayberry, passed from this life the morning of March 3rd after fighting lung cancer the past year. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends during her last days of life. She never gave up and she always had an amazing outlook on life. She impacted everybody she came across in one way or another.
Carlene was born in Pocahontas Arkansas but has been in Ozark since 2008 where she lived the remainder of her life. Carlene was the manager of Mers Goodwill in Springfield Mo for 18 years. Carlene loved barrel racing, going to the race tracks, being on the river, and spending time with her family. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them.
Carlene is survived by two sisters Darlene and Joy, two daughters Kimberly and Amelia, four nieces and nephews Arron, Andy, Whitney and Stephanie, seven grandkids Austin, Alyssa, Seth, Jesse, Weston, Patricia and Briella, four great grandkids Kyler, Cash, Knox and Baby K.
All who loved her dearly will never forget her charm, her kindness and her love. She lived a life full of love, laughter and compassion. She taught us the importance of family, the value of hard work, and the power of strength that's within us. While we will miss her dearly, her legacy lives on in each of us. May we honor her memory by living as she did with open hearts and helping hands.
She made a DIFFERENCE
