Camille Kurtz

Camille Kurtz, age 65 of Ozark, passed away April 14th in her home. She was the daughter of Joseph and Camille (Williams) Koslosky. She was born April 20, 1947 in Newark, New Jersey. Camille lived in Hillside and Menlo Park Terrace, before moving to Missouri. On August 1, 1970, she was married to the love of her life, Ian Kurtz. Camille continued her education and received her Master"�s Degree from Drury University, Springfield, MO. She taught special education for Springfield Public Schools for over 30 years. During that time she touched the lives of many special needs children. Camille was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Ozark where she was active in the Parish Council of Catholic Women. Camille was an avid runner for many years, completing the Boston and Dallas marathons. She had a wonderful sense of humor and also enjoyed caring for her many pets, knitting scarves & shawls for friends and family, her Women of the Well group. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping, Jimmy Buffet music and most of all spending time with her family, especially her loving grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Ian Kurtz, (Ozark); three children, Eric Kurtz and wife Sherry (Nixa), Heather Kurtz (Springfield), and James Kurtz and wife Michelle (Pomona); three grandsons, Aiden, Ian, Kelby, and two granddaughters, Briana and Brittany; a sister, Jane Caffrey and husband Brian (New Jersey); two brothers, Jim Koslosky and wife Kathie (Georgia), and Bill Koslosky (Nebraska); four nieces, Erin and her husband Teodoro Magaletta, Sara Caffrey, Emily Koslosky, and Meaghan and her husband Mark Rabideau; and a nephew, Sean Caffrey. Camille also leaves behind her dear chichuauha, Cocoa, as well as many dear friends and cousins who provided their kindness to Camille and her family during this past year. Camille was preceded in death by both of her parents, Joseph and Camille Koslosky. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, April 17th, in Adams Funeral home, Ozark. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 18th at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Ozark, with Father Saviour Nundwe officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Cemetery, White Church, Missouri.
