Byron Blanton Melton

Byron Blanton Melton, age 91, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away November 7, 2012. He was born July 30, 1921, in Olean, Missouri, the son of Edgar and Maude (Holloway) Melton. Mr. Melton worked for Sprint for 43 years before retirement. Survivors include: His daughter, Patricia Hall, Ozark; two grandchildren, Byron Clayton Hall and Mary Ann Hall; two great-grandchildren, Trevor Clayton Hall and Brayden James Sanchez; a sister, Treva Ramel, and a brother, Carl Melton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lois (Duffy) Melton in 1991, eight brothers and sisters, and his parents. A graveside memorial service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, in Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence.
