Byron Keith Applegate

Byron Keith Applegate. Age 65, of Bruner, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013. He was born November 17, 1947, in Gunnison, Colorado, the son of Howard Glen and Ina Juanita (Burks) Applegate. Keith loved music and started playing bass guitar at Gooch"�s in Galloway in the 1960"�s. He continued his career, playing and singing with Southern Harmony Brothers, and enjoyed playing at the Oldfield Opry. He had also done small engine repair and worked for MCI. Survivors include: Two children, David Wayne Applegate, Bruner, and Katrina Guerin and husband Dustin, Bruner; six grandchildren, Annaliese Applegate of Sparta, Mariah Adney of Bruner, Kaylee and Jase Guerin of Bruner and Brianna and Mackenzie Guerin of Highlandville; brothers and sisters, Kay Applegate of Ozark, Carole Isham and husband Larry Nowack of Ozark, Katheryn Martin and husband Darrel of Ozark, and O.A. Applegate and wife Vickie of Fordland; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Juanita, a brother, Gerald Ray Applegate, and a sister, Loretta Filbeck. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 30 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Jim Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Hill Cemetery, Bruner. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
