Bruce Lee Nelson, age 58 of Ozark, passed away November 8, 2021. He was born June 30, 1963 in Springfield, the son of Ward Thomas and Rosa Lee (Hertzler) Nelson.
On July 4, 1993, Bruce was united in marriage to Diana Dickerson who preceded Bruce in death in 2018.
Bruce had a dairy and hay business for many years. He later transitioned into carpentry work. He loved animal and animals loved him. Two of Bruce’s greatest loves were his momma, Rosa Lee Nelson and his wife, Diana Nelson.
Survivors include: his mother, Rosa Lee Nelson of Ozark; three children and their spouses, Shawna and Todd Lowery of Sparta, Joshua Cram of Springfield, and Daniel and Shermeka Nelson of Warner Robins, Georgia; ten grandchildren, Brittany Heminger, Ryan Cram, Hunter Cram, Mallory Cram, Carson Lowery, Anna Lowery, Brooklyn Lowery, Deonte Fuller, Kamari Fuller, and Taelyn Nelson; five great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Parker, Ady, Colton and Olivia; two sisters, Donna Nelson of Ozark and Sharon Davis of Nixa and husband Larry; two nieces, Christy Davies and husband Lewis of Nixa and Dusti Davis of Ozark; brother in law Bill Dickerson and wife Brenda of Kansas City; sister in law Pam Young of Ozark and husband Steve.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Diana Nelson; his father, Ward Nelson; two brothers, Barry Nelson and Steven Nelson; and his dogs, Nellie, Eddie, Charlie and Houdini.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1-3 P.M. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
