Bruce William Hoffman

SMSgt (ret.) Bruce William Hoffman, age 60, of Nixa, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. He was born December 3, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri. On May 9, 1981, he and Sandra Frazier were united in marriage. Bruce served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1998 after 26 years of service. He enjoyed his volunteer work for Least of These in Nixa. He loved his family and especially his role as "Papa"� and "Grandpa"�. Bruce attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Survivors include: His wife, Sandra; four children, Captain Eric Hoffman, U.S.A.F. and wife Amber of Shreveport, LA, Alicia Chilton and husband Dan of Nixa, Staff Sgt. Benjamin Hoffman, U.S.A.F. and wife Ashley of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Samantha Hoffman of Nixa; eight grandchildren; his parents Floyd and Shirley Perkins of Nixa; and four brothers, Chris Hoffman, Jim Perkins, Bob Perkins and John Hoffman. Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Tuesday, January 8, in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Nixa, with Pastor Dennis Miller officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Monday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
