Bruce Charles Adams

Bruce Charles Adams, age 62, of Nixa, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011. He was born September 11, 1948 in San Bernardino, California, the son of Jess and Athel (Claypool) Adams. Bruce was a building inspector and owned Signature Home Inspections. He previously was employed by Kraft for 25 years. He was a wonderful brother, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Survivors include his lifelong friend and mother of his children, Deborah Jett, Fair Play, Missouri. Three sons, Jeremy Adams and wife Jennifer, Nixa, Jeff Adams and Jason Adams, both of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Gina Stennett, Ozark, Nicky Burleigh and husband David, Mesa, Arizona, Donna McCombs and husband Jody, Ozark, Pat Satterfield, Springfield, and Betty Wilken, Kansas; a brother, Allan Adams, Kansas; and his beloved dog Starlight. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 18, 2011 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with Rodney McCann officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
