Brenda Sue Wall, age 55, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. She was born April 12, 1966 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Walter Larry Betts and Gladys Eva (Morrow) Betts. Brenda graduated from Southwest High School in Washburn, Missouri. She received an Associate Degree from Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri, where she met her husband, Steven John Wall. They were married in Neosho, Missouri in 1987 and lived in Kansas City, Missouri. They left Kansas City for three years to live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but returned to Kansas City in 1990. In 2012, Brenda and Steve moved to Ozark, Missouri for Steve’s work and to be closer to family.
Brenda attended High Street Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. She had a passion for serving “the least of these” by being an advocate for foster children through CASA, working with individuals with disabilities for Arc of the Ozarks, and loving on children through High Street ministries. Brenda loved horseback riding, traveling, playing cards and boardgames, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Steve; their three children, Christian Kujath and husband Scotty, of Springfield, Missouri, Courtney Alderton and husband Alex, of Ozark, Missouri, and Micah Wall of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren Kinsley Kujath, and Callie, Rowan, and Paxton Alderton; her mother Gladys Betts; her brother Robert Betts and wife Andrea; nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Larry Betts, and her brother William Betts.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, October 10th, at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Monday, October 11th, at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark with interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery in Ozark.
