Brenda Kay Ford

Brenda Kay (Robertson) Ford passed away November 14, 2020. She was born February 27, 1942 in Ozark, the daughter of Max and Ruth (Seitz) Robertson. On July 10, 1959, Brenda was united in marriage to Joe Ford. Brenda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, never missing a family ballgame. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and watching television. Brenda loved to have fun and laugh - especially at herself. She and Joe were fond of going to rummage sales when they weren't watching their kids and grandkids play ball. Survivors include: two daughters and their husbands, Melinda and Mike Hansen of Sparta and Paula and Mike Hyde of Sparta; grandchildren, Mallory Hansen, Riley Hyde and wife April, Bailey Hyde and Cooper Hyde, Amanda Dameron and husband Sam and Lindsey Hansen; great grandchildren, Lydia Cheek, Natalie Cheek, Ellis Hansen, Alex Hansen, Penelope Hansen, Noah Dameron, Elijah Dameron, Layne Raines and Reagan Hyde; her brother, Dale Robertson and wife Rachel; her sister, Peggy Schultz and husband Carl; and her cousin, Darla Spicer and husband Paul. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joe on April 5, 2019; two grandsons, Gary Hansen and Steven Hansen; and an infant daughter, Susan. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Bruner Cemetery, Bruner, Missouri, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Troy Hull officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
