Brenda Copeland

Brenda Joyce Copeland, age 81 of Nixa, died October 12, 2023. She was born March 19, 1942 in Manchester, Tennessee, the daughter of Horace and Dorothy (Fisher) Lowe.

On February 12,1960, Brenda was united in marriage to Butch Copeland. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage together.

Brenda greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and a wonderful seamstress. Brenda's hobbies included cross stitch, birdwatching, reading and taking care of her plants.

Survivors include: her husband, Butch Copeland of Nixa; children, Carl Copeland of Springfield and David Copeland of Nixa; daughter in law, Joni Copeland of Nixa; grandchildren, Rebecca Bell and husband Brian of Ozark and Kelly Morris and husband Carter of Nixa; great grandson, Easton Morris of Nixa; and a sister, Greta Kilpatrick of Golden Valley, Arizona.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Christine Copeland; and a daughter in law, Terri Copeland.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
