Bradley Keith Behrens, 58, was born October 7, 1966, in Cheverly, Maryland and passed away April 4, 2025, in his home in Ozark, Missouri. He graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a BS in Psychology and worked for a time as a clinical caseworker for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Later, he earned an AS in Applied Science from the Electronics Institute and repaired components of banking systems and cellular towers in the Kansas City area. When responsibilities on the family farm increased, he learned welding, engine repair, and anything else needed to keep the farm well maintained.
Brad spent his Christian life in continuous study of the Bible, in service to those in need, and had an especially tender heart towards the unsaved. He took classes at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, studied Greek and Hebrew, and taught in the Royal Rangers. Brad especially enjoyed studying the Torah at The Tabernacle and sharing his knowledge of Hebrew in every greeting card, family dinner, and texts of prayers to encourage his family. His passion for the Lord provided many opportunities to minister wherever he went. He participated in mission trips to Haiti and worked on chainsaw crews with religious organizations when natural disasters struck. His most meaningful ministry was spontaneously recognizing and meeting the needs of those around him, be they stranger or friend. Brad was always helping someone move, give them a ride, provide food, work on outreach construction projects, and assist those with car trouble at the roadside. He enjoyed many styles of worship and participated in several Christian communities including, The Tabernacle in Branson (a Messianic church), Dayspring Church, Silver Springs Chapel, Holy Fire Church, and many others.
His father, Ralph, preceded him to Heaven in September 2011. He is survived by: his mother, Mary Katheryn Behrens-Bischoff, Springfield; his sister, Dr. Hollis Kay Bell (Dr. Conrad Bell IV), Chicago; his nephews, Petty Officer 3rd Class Conrad Bell V, USN, San Diego, and Benjamin Warren Bell (Rachel) Alexendria, Virginia; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A special thanks to all who comforted Brad and his family during this time. Donations in memory of Brad can be made to The Tabernacle at thetabernacleinbranson.com or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
