Bonnie Jean Fitzpatrick

Bonnie Jean Fitzpatrick (Foster) was called to heaven to reunite with her husband of 44 years, Jerry Fitzpatrick, on April 9, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 78.  She was born on December 10, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  Bonnie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

In her younger years, Bonnie pursued a career as a hair stylist and owned her own salon, Lakeshore Beauty Salon. Her passion for styling hair extended to her family, often giving impromptu makeovers to her family members. Bonnie had a loving nature, a unique sense of humor and a caring sprit that shown through family and friends.


Bonnie's loving nature, unique sense of humor and caring spirit will forever be remembered. Bonnie was guided by her Christian faith and her belief in her Lord and Savior and shared that love with her family and friends.

Bonnie was known for her love of gardening, often propagating her plants, and giving them to loved ones. She loved gatherings at her home and cooking for her family while catching up on everyone’s lives.  She cherished moments spent on her porch with a good cup of coffee feeling the sun on her face. When she wasn’t gardening or hosting her family, she enjoyed watching shows (especially the Hallmark and Lifetime Channels) and would love it when you joined her.  A lover of animals, she was known for taking in her family members pets with open arms, especially her beloved Rocky.

She is survived by her children, Christine Garner-Voigt, spouse Scott Voigt, Rhonda Woodruff, Vickie Low, spouse Shane Low, Darlene Fitzpatrick. Grandchildren; Ross Garner, Danielle McBain, spouse Darin McBain, William Woodruff, Vallory Woodruff, Meagan Woodruff, Whitney Phillips, spouse Austen Phillips, Bryce Yarnell, Justin Wiles, Jeremy Wiles, Brandon Voigt, Dillon Low, spouse Sarah Low, and Caroline Low; many great-grandchildren, all of which she loved and cherished.


Bonnie is also survived by her siblings, Brenda Brown, Wilma Boyd, Bill Foster, wife Rose Foster and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Jerry Fitzpatrick, parents; Alton and Geraldine Foster, and her sisters; Geraldine Thompson, and Wanda Goff, sons in law, Les Garner and Bill Woodruff. 

Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her warmth, love, sassiness and her amazing, sweet tea.


Visitation for Bonnie Jean Fitzpatrick will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.  

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
