Bonneta Moore, age 86, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021. She was united in marriage to Robert Fulton Moore. He passed away In 2016, Bonneta was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Randall Moore in 1974, and Terry Jay Moore in 1970.
Bonneta and Bob lived in St. Louis for 22 years, and owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Eureka, Missouri. Bonneta also worked for the Eureka school system. In 1994 they retired and moved to Ozark. They joined the First Baptist Church in Ozark, where they made a host of friends. Bonneta sang in the choir and took part in activities of the church. She was a member of Vintage Voices and had been a Baptist Home Auxiliary volunteer. She had wonderful, supportive friends in Ron Young’s Sunday School Class. After Bob passed away, Bonneta moved to the bungalows at the Baptist Home in Ozark.
Survivors include: A sister, Wanda Simpson and husband Ronald of Lamoni, Iowa; two brothers-in-law Gaylord Moore and wife Beverly of Nixa, and Stanley Moore and wife Diane of Houston, Missouri; a sister-in-law Velma Phelps of Mansfield, Texas; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 24 in First Baptist Church, Ozark, with Dr. Phillip Burden officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time on Wednesday. A Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, in Union Cemetery, Houston, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
Memorial donations may be made in Bonneta’s name to First Baptist Church, Ozark, Building Fund.
