Bobbie Gipson, age 73, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 after a short illness. Bobbie was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  She attended and graduated from Wayland Academy, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. After graduation, she met and married Steven Pate. While he served in the army they lived in Germany. Following their divorce they remained friends. She then met and married Kenneth Gipson. While he served in the Navy they lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Orleans, Louisiana and Dallas Texas. Following Ken’s death in 2005 Bobbie met John Duncan and they moved to Nixa, Missouri.

Bobbie was pre-deceased by her parents; William and Dorothy France, two sisters, Judy Thompson, Nancy O’Bradovich and her husband Kenneth Gipson.

Bobbie is survived by her brother; John and sister-in-law Penny France;  her two cousins Linda Meyer and Susan (Steve) Meade; seven nieces and nephews Andrew (Anne) France, Sarah (Marcus) Mitchell, Allison and (Seth) Boomgarden, Scott (Ruth) Thompson, Leigh (Steve) Blatter, Jennifer (Louis) Lacovelli, Amy (James) Geyer, Edward O’Bradovich, Jr.

She was survived for two weeks by her fiancé, John Duncan, who passed on Friday, January 31, 2025. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri.  Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
