Blanche Beryl Berbereia

Blanche Beryl Berbereia, age 102 of Hollister, formerly of Ozark, passed away October 16, 2011. She was born May 26, 1909 in Coffeyville, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas F. and Martha Pearl (Reed) Gough. Blanche was a 1927 graduate of Ozark High School. On June 8, 1931, she married Alfred Correia Berbereia. Blanche owned and operated Berbereia Oil Company for 35 years. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Survivors include: two sons, Joe Berbereia and wife Judy, Lee"�s Summit and Tony Berbereia and wife Debbie, Hollister; three grandchildren, Teresa Evans and husband Ron, Nathan Berbereia and wife Heather and Jeremy Berbereia and wife Ashley; two great grandchildren, Jenna Evans and Parker Berbereia; her niece, Elise Crain, Ozark; and her nephew, Tom Crain, Chadwick. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al Berbereia; and her sister, Helen Crain. Blanche"�s family would like to thank her many longtime friends at Empire District Electric Company. She led a gracious full life and leaves behind a legacy of optimism and joy to all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 23 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Blanche Berbereia Fund, Finley River Community Foundation, P.O. Box 455, Ozark, MO 65721.
