Blanche Genevieve Batson

Blanche Genevieve Batson, age ninety years, and nine months, of Brookline Station, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012. She was born July 30, 1921, at Cave Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Mack and Pearl (Tummons) Atchley. On November 26, 1940, she and Olen Alfred Batson were united in marriage. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gene Batson, and a granddaughter. Blanche retired from Zenith after working there for 19 years. She then worked alongside her husband on the farm. Survivors include: Four sons, Larry Batson of Gainesville, Alfred Batson of Chadwick, Bill Batson of Fenton, and Bobby Batson of Nixa; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 5, in Manley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 "� 12:30 PM Saturday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
