Billy Gene Fitzpatrick

Billy Gene Fitzpatrick, age 95 of Nixa, Missouri passed into rest on Friday, October 14, 2022

Billy was born on March 31, 1927, in Nixa, to the late Earl and Austa (Whittington) Fitzpatrick.

Billy was united in marriage to Joretta Jackson in June of 1950. Bill was a man who enjoyed working with his hands. He restored cars, antiques, tractors, and other farm machinery. His favorite color was red, he was known to paint the cars he restored beautiful bright red. When Bill sold machinery, Jo kept the books for him. Together they were members of the Ozark antique auto club. Billy was a member of Calvary Bible Church.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Charlotte, brother James, and wife Joretta. He is survived by his sons Rickey Fitzpatrick and wife Shirley, Randy Fitzpatrick, grandchildren Chris Fitzpatrick, Daren Fitzpatrick and wife Lillian, Shane Cargle, Shaun Cargle, Andrea Hart-Simmons, Cory Fitzpatrick, great grandchildren Sindie, Allen, Derek, Dylan, Brandon, Ty, Shelby, Jennie, Heather, Taylor, Keira, Ky, Nick, and one great great granddaughter, Addy, and one great great grandson Blakelynn.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11 am Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will begin at 10 am until service time. Burial will follow the service at Delaware Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
