On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Bill Webb passed into peaceful rest. He fought his long battle the same as he always lived, with gentle strength.
Bill was born March 9, 1944 in Mississippi. He was a 1962 graduate of Parkview High School in Springfield. He enjoyed a successful career as a home builder with a reputation of honesty and quality construction. He was a member of Nixa Christian Church.
During his life, he found joy in cars, showing horses, hunting, nature and the outdoors, and the Colorado mountains. He had a passion for Corvettes, spending many hours with restoration projects and joy- riding. Above all, he loved his family beyond measure.
Celebrating his life, he leaves his wife, Judy Webb of Nixa. Son, Dallas Webb, Springfield; daughter, Jenifer Webb Martin & husband, Richard, Nixa. Grandchildren Taylor Martin, Newark NJ, Barrett Martin, Colorado Springs, CO, and Morgan Webb, Marietta GA. Mother, Wilma (Billie) Duffin & husband George, Wheatland; sister Ann Russell & husband Mike, Springfield.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of The Arbors at Lakewood and to Preferred Hospice for their steadfast care and support.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11, 4:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Preferred Hospice or a charity of the donor"�s choice.
