William (Bill) Elvin Lowther, 71, of Ozark, Missouri, took his own life on August 14th, 2023.
Bill was born on July 30, 1952 to Floyd Lowther and Grace Morton-Uber in Sonoma, California.
He was raised by Grace Morton-Uber and Albert Uber, after his father's death when Bill was five years old. After Bill graduated from Sonoma Valley High in 1970, he went on to start a 52 year career in the metal trades industry. He worked as an equipment designer for over 35 years at Custom Metalcraft in Springfield, Missouri.
In 2005, Bill Lowther married Annie Lowther. They resided in Ozark, Missouri for 17 years.
Bill was an engineer, woodworker, musician, photographer, and a jack of all trades, always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, making custom guitars and playing music.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Joyce Lowther and Carol Feigel.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Lowther; and his children and stepchildren, Billy Lowther, Jeramy Lowther, Billy Hembree, Christopher Gren, Crystal Seiler and Tami Turbyeville; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sibling, Russell Lowther.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
