Bill Garner

Bill Garner William Leroy "Bill"� Garner, age 85, of Ozark, died Friday, July 29, 2011, in his home. He was born in Elwood, Nebrask, on August 3, 1925, the son of Roy and Adah Garner. He moved with his parents to Ozark in 1937 and graduated from Ozark High School. Bill worked for Major Cheese Company for 19 years, and retired after 23 years from the Springfield Public School System. His greatest enjoyment was going to church. Bill accepted the Lord as Savior in 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Elwyn and two sisters, Vera Press and Berla Leer. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Marie; a son Robbie Garner, Ozark; a granddaughter, Jessica Marie Garner, Branson; two step-grandsons, Josh Johns, Highlandville, and Jeff Rogers, Ozark; nieces, Katherine Mauk, Bolivar, Lynnette Tindle, Galena, Jean Loomis, Chadwick; and a nephew, Rev. Paul Press, Swansville, Maine. A graveside funeral will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, in Selmore Cemetery, south of Ozark. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
