Bill Aleshire

Billy Gene "Bill"� Aleshire passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012. He was born November 25, 1932, near Nixa, where he continued to live throughout his life. Bill was the son of Alva and Harriet (Dicks) Aleshire. On October 19, 1951, he and Charlene Shelton were united in marriage. Bill was a heavy equipment operator, working with his bulldozer for forty years. He also continued to farm and raise cattle on the family farm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and cooking suckers for family and friends. He was a charter member of Fremont Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Survivors include: His wife, Charlene; two daughters, Deborah Aleshire, Ozark, Ronna Hicklin and husband Art, Nixa; and a brother, Jack Aleshire, Tucson, Arizona. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Hunter, a brother Randy Aleshire, and his parents. A graveside funeral will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 22, in Glenn Cemetery, south of Nixa, with Rev. Art Hicklin and Rev. John Holmes officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fremont Hills Baptist Church Needy Family Fund.
