Betty Louise Gilbert

Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Gilbert, age 77, of Oldfield, passed away in her home, Saturday, March 8, 2014. She was born in Oldfield, to Francis and Lela (McCoy) Hall, October 8, 1936. Betty was married to Russell Gilbert, until his passing in 1995. Betty was an excellent homemaker, enjoyed spending time with friends in the quilting club and garden club. Betty loved the Lord and attended Sparta First Baptist Church. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law Kathleen Gilbert, of Oldfield, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Betty is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M, Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Old Boston Cemetery, Oldfield, with Pastor Jeremy Gilbert officiating.
