Bennie E. Talbot

Bennie E. Talbot passed away Saturday, August 20 at Cox South Medical Center, after an extended battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 18, 1930 at Norwood, MO to Raymond and Alta (Thompson) Talbot. He was preceded in death by his parents and three of his sisters, Wanda Laub, Nadine Locke and Joan Hill. Bennie is survived by his wife Emma, son Roger Talbot, San Jose, CA, sisters Esther and her husband Bill Jones, Mtn. Grove, Patsy and her husband Ed Johnson, Oregrande, New Mexico and brother-in-law Joe Locke of Norwood. After living in California for several years Ben returned to Missouri and was employed at Kraft Foods until his retirement in 1988. Ben was member of Christ Church Unity, Elks Lodge 2777 at Ozark and the Ozark Booster Club. Services will be held at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, MO, Thursday, Aug. 25. Visitation will be at 5:30 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. Internment will be at Thomas Cemetery, Norwood MO at 10:00 AM Friday, Aug. 26. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bennie"�s memory, may be sent to "Care To Learn"�, a support group for area school children, 411 N, Sherman Parkway, Springfield, MO 65802.
