Basel Dean Bryan, age 85, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was born October 25, 1930, in Ozark, where he continued to live throughout his life. He was the son of Web and Elsie (Pruett) Bryan. On August 24, 1949 he and Beulah Stewart were united in marriage.
Basel was a member of Ponce Pentecostal Church. He retired as an electrician from Springfield Public Schools after 26 � years of service. He and Beulah enjoyed leading Wagon Train rides across the Ozark Hills and served as president of Highlandville Saddle Club for 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include: two daughters, Vickie (Lucy) Green, and Brenda Mitchell and her husband Mark; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beulah in 2010, two children Michael Bryan and Beckie Teague; a sister, and his parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 25, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow in Jones-Chastain Cemetery, south of Nixa. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
