Barney Collins

Barney Ray Collins, age 83, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020. He was born in North Carolina on January 22, 1937. Barney proudly served his country in the U.S. Military. His wife, Carolyn Sue Collins, preceded Barney in death in 2011. He is survived by four step-daughters, Leasha Pulley of Sedalia, Missouri, Teresa Knight of Lebanon, Missouri, Laura O'Bannon and husband Troy of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and Brenda Greir of Lebanon, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and nephew, Rick Meese. Also surviving are his family at Grace Community Worship Center in Nixa. Two great-grandsons preceded Barney in death as well as his wife. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 25, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Paul Winchester officiating. Visitation will proceed the service at 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in White Oak Pond Cemetery, Lebanon.
