Barden Hale Lupton, age 89, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. He was born November 24, 1928 in Warrensburg, Missouri, the son of Barden Wesley Lupton and Mary Modena (McCoy) Lupton. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On January 4, 1958 he and Hester Ann Anderson were united in marriage.
Barden retired from Kraft Foods in 1989. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid gardener. He and Ann liked to check out garage sales in the area. Barden loved his family and enjoyed spoiling grandchildren.
Survivors include: His wife, Ann; three children and their spouses, Donnie and Hellen Lupton of Ozark, Donna and Pat Balisle of Ozark, and Lisa and Rick Parham of Logan-Rogersville; five grandchildren, Cody Balisle and wife Sunday, Colten Parham and wife Amanda, Hope Hale and husband Trevor, Hunter Parham, and Mekayla Tizen; two brothers, Kenneth Lupton of Goodhope and Charlie Lupton of Ozark; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Brooke Parham, brothers and sisters, Loretta, Louise, Bill, James and Christine, and his parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 5, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial with military honors will follow in McCauley Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
