Barbara Ann Youngblood, age 60, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017. She was in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by loved ones. Barbara was born in Joliet, Illinois on February 17th 1956 to Icey Anderson and Henry Blevins.
Barbara loved camping, flowers, playing the piano and singing hymns. But what she loved the most was her family and spending time with them. She especially loved spoiling her grandkids. There isn't a Christmas her grandkids can remember when they didn't have to take several trips to the car and back to load and unload all their gifts. She loved her two daughters and they were her best friends. While she loved all of these things and all of these people, there is one person who had her heart completely. Barbara Ann Blevins and Duke Youngblood were married on July 22nd, 1970. They spent the last 47 years together. He was the love of her life, and she was certainly the love of his.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Icey Anderson and Henry Blevins. She is survived by her husband Duke Youngblood of Reeds Spring, Missouri; her two daughters Lori Trueblood and spouse Bill Trueblood of Galena Missouri, and Christina Dotson of Reeds Spring; four grandchildren, Dakota Dotson and fianc Colten Cummins of Galena, David Dotson and spouse Megan Dotson of Galena, and Terry and Clay Trueblood of Galena; six brothers and sisters, Danny Blevins and spouse Pat Blevins of Reeds Spring, Dottie Fausett of Spokane, Missouri, Brenda Jackson of Blue Mound, Kansas, Bill Blevins and spouse Tina Blevins of Texas, Timmy Blevins and spouse Virginia Blevins of Texas, and Sondra Bryan of Highlandville Missouri; along with a host of other family and friends.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
