Barbara Jean Looney

The Daughter of Charlie and Lena Plott, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her life partner, Dean Fite, sister Linda Wright and husband Jerry, her brother Jerry Plott, and her niece Becky Wright. Barbara spent her entire life in this area and was a graduate of Spokane High School. Barb was a gentle soul, never raising her voice except possibly to Dean to come pick her up, or to a bond jumper. You see, Barb was also known throughout the area for freeing many local men and women accused of crimes against society from the local lock ups. A fine bondswoman, unless you neglected a court appearance, then, you might get "the voice!" Barbara was loved by and loved so many. She will truly be missed. At the end of her life, I believe her final words were "God, the Barbie Doll's ready!" A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be given to the charity of your choice. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
