Barbara June Branscum

Major Barbara June Tolcher Branscum, wife of Major Richard Branscum, was promoted to glory at 5:25am on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Nixa, Missouri.
Barbara was born 10/14/47, in  Covington, VA to  Roy & Violet Tolcher officer parents.  She speaks of her calling as she was TYI in 1963, she describes the meeting and mentioning the sevice she felt was directed to her.  When they started playing and singing the song  "Breathe Upon Me",  " I heard God's voice saying, Now is the accepted time."  It was in 1966, Barbara entered training and Commissioned on June 8, 1968 with the session "Messengers of Faith".
She and Richard married on June 29, 1070, together they had two wonderful children, Christopher and Elizabeth.

Served the Lord for over 27 years in active service before entering retirement.
The Branscum's served in and retired from the Southern Territory spending much of their time in Texas. Major Richard has been ministering to Barbara for the last couple years as her health declined.
Together they have two children Christopher Branscum from Highland, Missouri & Elizabeth Branscum Bovender, Grandberry, TX,  seven grandchildren , her brother Roy Tolcher, Ray Tolcher, Raymond Tolcher, John Branscum nephew, Major Shannon Winters niece and Major Ron Key cousin.
