Barbara "Bobbye" Sue White

Bobbye White, age 82, of Nixa, Missouri passed away on January 5, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Jena, Louisiana to Edna and Robert Jackson. Bobbye was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth and unwavering love. 

On March 26, 1960, Bobbye married Fairel W. White, and they shared a loving and cherished partnership for over 64 years. Together they built a life filled with joy, love and shared memories. Bobbye was a loving mother to her son Mark White who preceded her in death. Bobbye’s siblings Gladys Jackson Lecroix, Marie Jackson Brooks, Mildred Jackson, Robert Jackson, John Jackson, Betty Jackson and Gwendolyn Jackson McCartney, all preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Fairel White, granddaughters Brandy and Cheyenne White and numerous nieces and nephews. 

 A visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2025, at Countryside Christian Church, Nixa, Missouri where friends and family can gather to celebrate her life and legacy.  A Memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the burial to follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Pastor Rodney McCann will be officiating the service.   Services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri  and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
