Arvil Lee Harp

Arvil Lee Harp, age 96, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022, surrounded by his family. Arvil was born on September 17, 1926, to William Harp and Ruby (Jones) Harp in Cassidy, Missouri.

Arvil met the love of his life Rosemary when he resided in California and fell deeply in love, got married and had two beautiful daughters Linda and Carol. After Arvil retired, him and Rosemary moved back to Missouri where he could go fishing and enjoy the outdoors. Arvil spent a lot of time outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. His passion for fishing was one of many of his passionate hobbies. He enjoyed hunting and never missed a Sucker Day.

Arvil is survived by his sister Susie Rice (Columbia, MO); daughter Linda Watson and husband Bill Watson; Carol Schlitz (Crane); grandchildren Brandon Schlitz and wife Rachel Schlitz (Nixa, MO), Mike Schlitz and wife KiKi Schlitz (Benton, AR); great-grandchildren Alicia Schlitz (Aurora) and Emma Schlitz (Benton, AR).

He is preceded in death by his parents William Harp and Ruby Harp; son-in-law Mike Schlitz; four brothers Avery Harp, Arthur Harp, Harley Harp, and Harvey Harp.

Visitation is scheduled Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at McConnell Memorial Cemetery.
