Anthony Paul Bohlmann, age 49 of Ozark, passed away December 9, 2021. He was born April 7, 1972 in Houston, Texas, the son of Dr. Rodney and Karen (West) Bohlmann.
Anthony attended Mississippi State University.
On November 3, 2001, Anthony was united in marriage to Kelley (Winchip.)
Anthony was a dedicated husband, father and servant of the community. His passion was his service to the Boy Scouts of America. He impacted the lives of thousands of youth as a cornerstone leader of Troop 201. Anthony was also a member of the Christian County Elks Lodge. He was an outdoorsman with a love for camping and hiking. He also enjoyed the craft of brewing beer. Anthony was employed as an engineer for BNSF Railroad.
Survivors include: his wife, Kelley Bohlmann of Ozark; children, Evelyn Bohlmann (age 19) and Wyatt Bohlmann (age 14) of Ozark; his parents, Dr. Rodney and Karen (West) Bohlmann; his siblings, Nathanael Bohlmann and wife Jennifer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and their son, Drew Simmons, Chad Bohlmann and wife Heidi of Tampa, Florida and their sons, Dietrich, Austin and Evan, Faith Caplis and husband Phil of Chillicothe, Illinois and their children, Patrick, Emily, Sarah and Matthew, Dr. John Bohlmann of Chillicothe, Illinois and daughter Adrianna of Maryland, Julie Shields and husband Darin of Gig Harbor, Washington and daughter, Aurora, and Kevin Bohlmann and wife Nicole of Brooklyn, New York.
A funeral service and celebration of life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. immediately before the service. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service by Adams Crematory.
Anthony supported the efforts at the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks and encouraged all who are able to donate blood for those in need. Monetary memorial donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 201 or to the family for the children’s education.
