Anna Pauline (Emry) Fleskes, age 87, of Clermont, Florida, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2014. She was born May 16, 1927 in Montreal, Missouri, the daughter of Porter and Maude Traw. She grew up in the Camden County, Missouri area, and after moving to Kansas City, Anna Pauline attended Central High School.
Anna Pauline married James Emry in Kansas City, and they had one son, Jeffery, in 1952. She spent nearly 30 years in the food service industry before retiring in 1982 and moving to Florida.
Anna Pauline loved the retirement life and lived it to the fullest. She spent the majority of her time enjoying painting, golfing, cooking and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, James Traw.
Anna Pauline leaves behind family who will miss her dearly including: Her son Jeff Emry and wife Elaine of Strafford; two granddaughters, Sarah Davis and husband Ryan of Strafford, and Ashley Harris and husband Peter of Springfield; four great-grandchildren, Josie, Bode and Lyla Davis and Emry Harris; her sister, Betty Lacy of Leawood, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 5:00 pm Wednesday, October 1, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Chaplain Michael O'Brien officiating. Visitation will follow until 7:00 PM.
