Amy Lynn Lackershire

Amy Lynn Lackershire, age 40, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. She was born May 17, 1976 in Emmetsburg, IA to Michael Lackershire and Barbara Burch-Buckner. Amy was raised in Springfield and graduated from Parkview High School. Amy was a loving person. She was a strong willed person and always spoke her mind. Amy was an avid KC Chiefs fan and was known to yell at the television at times. She loved her cat, Boo and her Yellow Lab, Daisy. Amy also cared for stray cats and would make shelters for them in the winter. Amy loved her family dearly. Amy was taken too soon and she will be greatly missed, Amy is survived by her parents; Step father Michael Buckner; her children Haley Bearden, her husband David, of Marshfield and Savanah Waxler, of Marshfield; a grandson Kaiden Bearden; a brother Bill Lackershire, of NC; half-sisters Jennifer Battle, her husband Derrick, of Pittsburg, KS and Coyetta Lee, her husband Sean, of Jacksonville, FL. Amy is preceded in death by her grandparents Harry and Eleanor Burch; and an Aunt Joyce Dow. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
