Allan Dean Truitt

Allan Dean Truitt, age 56, of Chestnutridge, MO passed away on June 21, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO after complications following a heart surgery. Allan was born on the May 28, 1958 in Neuenburg, Germany to James and Wilda Truitt. He graduated from Ozark High School and worked at Paul Mueller Co. for 35 years. Allan was united in marriage to Peggy Sue Gray (Susie) on May 7, 1978. Born into this union are sons Patrick L. and Jeremy Z. Truitt. Allan is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby Joe, and brother Dale. Allan is survived by wife Susie, son Patrick and grandson Jamison, son Jeremy with wife Shannon and granddaughters Monroe and Mila, brothers Jimmy and Sam, sister Shelly and several nieces and nephews. Allan was a committed member of the Chestnutridge Southern Baptist Church and the family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to his church family. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa on Tuesday, June 24 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with funeral services held on Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial at Schupbach Cemetery in Chestnutridge, MO.
