Alice Emma Roach

Alice Emma Roach, age 73, of Nixa, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. She was born July 28, 1939, in Ava, Missouri, the daughter of Francis Melvin Crawford and Carlene Miller Crawford. She and Roy Glenn Roach were united in marriage February 14, 1975. Alice worked for Goodyear Rubber before retirement in 1999. She was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ in Nixa, and had been a long time member of the Duncanville Church of Christ in Texas. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for them. Survivors include: Her husband, Roy; six children, Brenda, Cindy, Steve, Diana, Susan, and Florrie thirteen grandchildren including Jamie and Jasmine, living with Alice and Roy; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Melba, Dorothy, and Barbara; a brother, Cleo; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Her parents preceded her in death as well as a brother, Elmer, and a sister, Martha. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 12, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Steve Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time. In Texas, services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, November 15, in Jaynes Memorial Chapel, Duncanville, with visitation starting at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Ron Carlson. Burial will follow in Little Bethel Memorial Park, Duncanville, Texas.
