We honor and celebrate the life of Alesia Faye Gordon of Springfield, Missouri, who entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2025, at the age of 69. Alesia was born on February 13, 1955, to Everett and Billie Jean Harvill. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
Alesia was a 1973 graduate of Nixa High School and later attended classes at Ozark Technical College. She had a kind and giving heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. A devoted mother and grandmother, Alesia’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond. She cherished time spent with them, whether watching Hallmark movies, scrap booking with her granddaughter, or simply sharing in life’s special moments.
Alesia had a passion for cooking and was known for her delicious homemade desserts, including her famous fudge and blackberry cobbler. She also found great joy in flower arranging, coin collecting, and searching for unique treasures at yard sales and antique stores.
A woman of strong faith, Alesia was raised in the Southern Baptist Faith and found great comfort in sharing her faith with others. She often used social media to spread messages of hope and encouragement, touching the lives of many.
Alesia’s kind spirit, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Alesia is survived by: a daughter, Sharon Gordon; a son, Rodney Gordon; a daughter in law, Jackie Harvill; 13 grandchildren including Skyler (Ashlee) Blevins and Madison Harvill (Trever Salander); two brothers, Loyd Harvill, Floyd (Dianna Wilkins) Harvill; four greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alesia is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Billie Jean Harvill; a son, Jeremy Harvill; a sister-in-law, Vicky Harvill; several grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri, with Dr. Wade Bridges officiating. A visitation will precede the funeral at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Chadwick Cemetery following the funeral service.
