Alan Jay Gorham, age 52 of Nixa, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. He was born November 17, 1967 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Jay Robert and Mary Janet (Trimble) Gorham.
On November 23, 1991, Alan was united in marriage to Cynthia Sue Donley.
Survivors include: his wife, Cindy Gorham of the home; his teenaged children, Ben, Beau and Brooke of the home; his mother, Janet Gorham of Loves Park, Illinois; his sisters, Tammy Olsen and husband Mark of Spooner, Wisconsin and Kathy Sjostrom and husband Nelson of Cherry Valley, Illinois; and extended family.
Alan was preceded in death by his father.
Alan retired from the U. S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield after 18 years as a radiologic technologist and firearms instructor. Alan enjoyed camping, riding ATVs on the Missouri trails and motorcycling. He was an avid fan of "Clash of Clans." Alan loved spending time with his kids and family. He was a member of James River Church in Ozark.
Alan will be greatly missed.
A private funeral service for family only, will be held this weekend officiated by Chaplain Randy Cantrell, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
