Agnes Gray, 89, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2022, at Jacob’s Ladder, in Springfield, Missouri. Agnes was born in Baskett Kentucky to Morris and Earithy Moore.
Agnes is survived by daughter Sandy Turner of Ozark; daughter Sheryl and husband Walt Williams of Ozark; granddaughter Chris Baker & husband Scott of Rogersville; granddaughter Jennifer Sampietro-Zacher & husband Todd of Rogersville; great grandchildren Matt & Will Sampietro of Rogersville; two sisters Barbara Wydicks, Evansville Indiana & Martha Bilyeu, Evansville Indiana; two special nieces Laurie Eirwin & Lana Flowers of Evansville, Indiana, along with a host of several nieces and nephews.
Agnes is preceded in death by her father Morris Moore and mother Earithy Moore; brother James Moore; sister Marie Thomas.
Agnes worked for St. Johns Hospital as an Licensed Practical Nurse for 30 years and helped found and volunteered at the Christian County Ambulance Service. Agnes was a public servant, as she dedicated her time as a volunteer reserve officer for Christian County Sheriff’s Department, along with Ozark Police Department. She enjoyed helping the community but made time to coach her daughter’s softball team.
Agnes loved to dance and spend time with her family. She was lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Suggy.
Funeral Services will be Friday, May 6, 2022, from 2:00pm, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 1:00pm ~ 2:00pm, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send a donation to Jacob's Ladder in Springfield, Missouri.
