Adrian Lee Brown

Adrian Lee Brown, age 84 of Chestnutridge, died October 8, 2023. He was born May 8, 1939 in Taney County, the son of Arlie and Ethel (Patrick) Brown.

On May 15, 1959, Adrian was united in marriage to Glenette (Keltner).

Adrian was a member of New Haven General Baptist Church, Chestnutridge. He worked as an electrician until his retirement. He enjoyed playing bass guitar, mowing and upkeep of the church and Schupbach Cemetery, spending time in his shop, Wendy's Frosties, McDonald's sausage biscuit, cold watermelon, and most of all, spending time with his family - especially his wife, making their breakfast everyday.

Survivors include: his wife, Glenette Brown of Chestnutridge; his daughter, Glenda Lea Tennis and husband Jack of Chestnutridge with grandson Justin Tennis and wife Mollie with great grandchildren, Cheyanne and Jake Tennis, and granddaughter, Adrian Lindsey Hartley and husband Tyler with great granddaughter, Hadley Grace Hartley; and daughter, Sherri Ann Cutbirth and husband Kevin of Chestnutridge with grandchildren, Kaitlyn Grube and husband Eric with great grandson, Shayne Michael Grube, and Dustin Cutbirth and wife Linda with great grandchildren, Lincoln and Dorothy Ruth. Other survivors include: a grandson, Landon Bilyeu and wife Jaci; and his brother, Dean Brown and wife Sharon of Ohio; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Allen Clay Brown; a grandson, Dustin James Tennis; and his siblings, Lowell Brown, Norman Brown, Margie McKay, Vera Brown, Vivian Miles and Imogene Ebert.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at New Haven General Baptist Church, Chestnutridge, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Landon Vinson officiating. There is no formal visitation planned, however friends may drop by to pay their respects to Adrian from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
